Sientje is a stunning mare to behold. She has a generous build with a strong topline, a beautiful head, and a very elegant neck. She comes from mare line 1 and has a full pedigree. Her dam is a ster mare by Tsjalke 397, her granddam is also a ster, and following them are two ster preferent mares. What makes her particularly interesting is that she is a descendant of the stallion Arent 515, and there aren’t many of those! This, combined with her excellent conformation and movement, makes her a very interesting horse for breeding. Sientje is in foal to Hielke 530 and is due in November 2026.
As mentioned, Sientje moves very well. Her loose trot with good hind leg engagement really stands out. We drive Sientje both under saddle and in front of the cart, in single and double harness. She is well-accustomed to traffic and a very appealing horse to watch at work. She is eager to work, moves nicely forward on the bit, and is light in the hand. Sientje is a good sport horse and also has a reliable temperament.
