Bit fitting / Headstall fitting

We are often asked: which bit is suitable for my horse/pony? A well-fitting bit and bridle depends on many factors. Knowledge of the anatomy of the horse's head and the correct harness is very important in this regard. Our colleague Emma has completed the full IE EBF bit fitting training course and is able to give you sound advice. For all disciplines and every type of bit (including snaffle bits and driving bits), we will visit you on site to measure bits and bridles for your horse.

Costs of bit fitting

Fitting a snaffle bit:
Correctly fitting a snaffle bit will take approximately one to one and a half hours.
The cost for this consultation is €65 + travel expenses.

Measuring the curb chain and snaffle:
Correctly measuring a curb chain and snaffle will take approximately one and a half to two hours.
The cost for this consultation is €75 + travel expenses.
