Already a true celebrity as a foal due to his spectacular movements, Kees van Raepshille was champion colt at the Breeding Day in Oosterland and the top horse at the 2019 Midden Nederland Foal Auction. Kees 531 is a son from the first crop of Tjebbe 500 Sport AAA, his dam is the Kroon Sport AAA mare Rosa fan e' Hartstun.

Kees 531, what an impression he made last year! Nearly 50% of his first crop received a first premium, and many of his offspring also won foal championships. His son Arie van de Egberdina Hoeve went one step further and became Stallion Foal Champion at the Central Inspection. Kees 531 also presented himself phenomenally in the harness, winning with overwhelming superiority.

Kees 531 has a clean and tactful gait, his trot is light-footed with great flexibility and use of his body, with extra use of his forelegs. He has a remarkably good canter. During the Central Examination, he completed his saddle exam with 83.5 points, with the jury praising his balance/posture and ability to switch gears. When harnessed, he shows a lot of front and good use of his forelegs with a lot of suspension. His driving and harness exams were scored at 82.5 and 84 points, including an 8.5 for foreleg use!

Kees 531, his offspring are tough and look out into the world. They move with their withers raised, show a lot of suspension, and always want to steal the show!
